If you’ve been with us since The Daily CAFE days, you know us as the team behind Daily 5 and CAFE—literacy-based systems with resources that support teachers and students everywhere. Now, as Teach Daily, we’ve expanded our focus. Our mission is the same—providing practical, research-based tools teachers can use every day—but our scope is bigger. Instead of centering only on literacy, we now highlight the most effective, evidence-based practices across all subject areas and all parts of the school day.
You’ll still find many of the same resources you relied on at The Daily CAFE, and we’re adding fresh new content every week. Here’s where you can now find some of your longtime favorites:
Where to Find Old Favorites
Interactive CAFE Menu → Literacy Strategies
The original CAFE Menu was a concept map that helped students access literacy strategies. You’ll still find the same great resources, now organized under Literacy Strategies. We encourage you to use the CAFE acronym and add strategies that align with your grade-level standards and student needs. Instead of pre-filled menus, we now provide lists of strategies with accompanying resources so you can personalize them for your classroom.
Interactive PATH Menu → Math Strategies
Just like the CAFE Menu, the PATH Menu supported math learning through concept mapping. These resources now live under Math Strategies, where you’ll find the same tools and support for creating your own PATH menu aligned with your students’ goals and standards.
Daily 5 and CAFE "The First Days" → The First Days of School
Our original First Days of School guide helped teachers launch Daily 5 and CAFE. Now, it’s been redesigned to support the entire school day, across all subjects. You’ll find guidance for communicating expectations, building relationships, and creating a positive learning environment—essentials for a strong start in any classroom.

Lit Lessons are still here! Browse the Bookshelf in the top menu bar to find ready-to-use lessons that pair with favorite read-alouds.
