We have such respect and appreciation of lifelong learners and were recently delighted to see Rhonda, who has joined us for live workshops in six different locations over the last few years. She said she continues to attend because she learns something new each time and leaves inspired and rejuvenated. What a model for us.

We too are lifelong learners. Last week, we shared Page Turners 4, giving you a look into what we are reading and learning about. Whether reading a book, listening to a speaker, or participating in an online discussion, one of the ways we remember our learning is through note taking. We love keeping notes in a journal and are always on the lookout for ways to capture and hold our thinking and learning.

Recently, Sarah joined us at our Atlanta workshop and shared her two-column note-taking system that she titles Confirmations and Revelations. It is a great example of one way to capture and process thinking and learning.

Three cheers for you as you continue your professional development this summer, learning through books, website studies, conferences, workshops, Twitter, and conversations with colleagues. Here's to finding the inspiration, note-taking tools, and stamina to continue being lifelong learners, for ourselves and our students.
