Practices that Support Student Achievement

John Hattie's Visible Learning research supports the evidence based practices that make up Prepared Classroom.

The question Hattie built his research around was “Which variables have the greatest impact on student achievement?” He has studied this question for the past 25 years, looked at over 108,000 studies, and 300 million students. WOW! He has identified more than 320 factors that influence student achievement, and calculated an effect size for each. Any factor that has an effect size of .4 or higher illustrates a year’s growth, or more!
